As you already know I can not take a good photo to save myself. My husband is quite a deft hand with a camera though and my resolution this year is to listen when he tries to give me advice in order to improve my photography skills. He took this picture on his mothers property on Christmas day as I was feeding the horses. I can't put my finger on why but it touches my soul.
It's a wonderful picture. Horses are such intriguing animals - for me, they are very easy to love - and he certainly caught the thoughtful, gentle spirit of this one!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful image Bree
ReplyDeleteI've rarely been around horses, but they look to have such gentle souls. We have a few horses in my area and it is always such a surprise to see them. Surprised to see these great creatures in the middle of the suburbs!
Have a great week.. and thanks for your lovely comments. It's always a pleasure to visit here. x Julie
Lovely photo, Happy New Year! Roberta

ReplyDeletewhat a calming picture, simply beautiful and provokes deep thoughts for me.... glad to see you're back posting ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely photography by your husband. So glad to have discovered your blog. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Paddington is one of my favourite Australian suburbs - every time my husband and I visit Sydney, we spend a day there browsing the shops and wandering through the back streets admiring all the beautiful terrace houses.
