Beauty is found in simplicity. This saying proved true at the wedding of my good friends Tim and Storm Ivers. The tropical island backdrop set the scene and simple white floral combinations and candle light did the rest. What can I say less is more!

Today I returned from my week in Queensland sunkissed and happy. I picked up the weekend papers from my porch and found this gem inside. For those of your who have being following my blog you may remember my post on fashion designer Collette Dinnigans new Paddington home, well she has just listed her redundant Paddington pad with a ten million dollar plus price tag. I jumped on line straight away to download the pictures as any good realestate stalker would and here they are for you to view. I could move in tomorrow and not change a thing!

I am currently working on specifying hard surfaces for a new apartment development in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. I have specified the following finishes. The tile in the background is for the floor, I recommend using a large format tile as it makes the space appear bigger. The white tile is for the walls in the bathroom. Calcutta Marble will be used as a splashback in the kitchen and on the floors in all the bathrooms. Lastly Caesar Stone in Walnut will form the bench top in the kitchen.

I dropped into Strand Agencies today to pick up some items for a client. Stuart and Sue have done a great job re merchandising the showroom. The new shipment of mirrors and lamps really stand out against the rich chocolate wall. I really am a sucker for a silver starburst mirror, isn't this one gorgeous!

These pictures have me dreaming of a house at the beach, with nothing between my front porch and the ocean except the sand. A girl can dream can't she? The architectural details in these images are my idea of seaside heaven. Tongue and groove boards, porthole windows, vaulted ceilings and white shutters, sigh!
