Home Beautiful

This month's issue of Home Beautiful features my home on the front cover. I have only posted a small image from the inside, if you want to see more go out and buy yourself a copy! The issue is full of great ideas and inspiring images. Check out the South American living room on page 103, the fireplace detailing is exquisite.

  1. Hi Bree,
I picked up my monthly fix of HB today and was struck by the front cover. I fell in love with your floorboards and the choc brown dining table with the ghost chairs. Im renovating in a few months and have visions of creating similar tones/pieces. Love, love, love your work and colour scheme, thanks for being an inspiration!
PS. Can I ask what colour you used for your exterior?

  4. Hello, loved the pictures of your house. Just wondering if you could tell me where/how you did the paris map feature!

  5. I brought the Paris map in France and had it framed up here in Sydney, by my frame supplier A&H Trading in Chapel St Mordale. If you can't get the original map they have prints of similar things.

  7. Hi Bree your home in hb mag is just stunning i love everything, you did an amazing job. I would love to know where you bought those beautifull chest of drawers in the bathroom, and do you have any tips in turning them into a vanity for the bathroom? thankyou so much sincerly maria

  8. The mirrored chest used for the vanity was purchased from Tantra, they supply direct to designers and interior shops. You can purchase similar ones from Laura Ashley if you don't have access to Tantra. Make sure your plumbers are very careful when they take the top mirrored piece off. I would suggest replacing it with a stone top as it will be easy to clean and protect the rest of the mirrored areas from water damage.
    Good luck!
    Bree.

  11. Here is an update on some of the items in my house.

    1. The tiles in the bathroom are from Academy Tiles in Sydney (sorry I don't remember the names)

    2. My terrace is 4.3m wide internally.
